Q: No bootable device
The "No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key" message has come up after i partitioned my mac/window GB.
I understand that with option I can boot into OS X but I want to fix my bootcamp installation.
I use a sandisk usb 2.0.
Please help!

When installing windows 7 the process kept restarting when i finished and kept asking to enter my product key so I took out the USB which I believe has the support software needed to fix this but how am I able to fix the problem of the installation not completing and restarting?
The Support Software and Product Key are unrelated. Do you have your W7 Product Key that is printed on the media (DVD or KeyCard)? You need to use that to activate Windows.
Does Windows recognize the USB, if you connect it to your Mac? If yes, run setup.exe from the Bootcamp folder on the USB which should provide the proper drivers. I assume you have followed step 11 in Install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support .
