Q: Photos won't trust iPad, cannot import images.
I filmed a video clip of my dog but I cant get it off the ipad onto the computer, I followed the instructions as below, but it doesn't work.
- Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or digital camera to your Mac with a USB cable. If you're using an SD card, insert it into the SD slot on your Mac, or connect it using a card reader. OK
- You might need to unlock your iOS device using your passcode. You might also see a prompt on the iOS device asking you to Trust This Computer. Tap Trust to continue. YES, I click Trust
- On your Mac, the Photos app automatically opens. If it doesn't, open the Photos app.
NO - in Photos for a split second the iPad appears & then disappears. There is no way to Proceed. If i disconnect & reconnect the USB cable it asks me to trust again. It does this over & over. I re-started the computer & the iPad, it still does the same thing.
I tried to use Image Capture instead but no device will show up.
The iPad seems to work normally in iTunes.
The iPad is iOS 9.3.4, the computer is iMac 10.10.5
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

I discovered it was the USB cable. I tried another & it works.
Very odd ~ The cable works fine for charging & itunes, just not Photos.
