Q: Tried resetting my Mac it was purchased with Lion and won't restore back to that software?

I am trying restore my MacBook Pro and it won't install the Lion operating system

    What happens when you try?

    Just what are you trying?

    Just what model Mac?

    If Lion did originally come with the Mac then install disks came with the Mac and you may have to use those and then update OSX via the Mac App Store.

    SInce Lion is a paid update it may be that you are not entering the Apple ID that originally purchased Lion
