Q: No solid GPS fix (Iphone 6 IOS 9.3.5)

On my iPhone 6 with IOS 9.3.5 the GPS doesn't fix. Navigation apps don't work because the GPS has a accuracy of 100 m or more. I had a new GPS-antenna installed to get rid of the problem, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. So probably it's a software-issue? The strange thing is one moment it looks like the gps has a good fix, the other moment the accuracy is gone (up to 1.000 m or more?). I don't get it? More people having this kind of problems?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.5, null

iPhones use "assisted GPS" to get more accurate location. That means GPS data is combined with cell tower, Wi-Fi and even Bluetooth known locations. If these are not available, the accuracy will be lesser.

Also note that GPS requires at least 12.5 minutes to get a location. This is the time required to get signal from two satellites. Three would be much better.

Assuming you had this done by someone other than Apple, since Apple would not do that, they would replace the phone entirely if there were a problem like that, you can't get help here.

Your phone is now completely unsupportable either by Apple or in these Apple sponsored forums now that it's been tampered with.

Sorry. Find a competent 3rd party repair shop or buy a new phone.
