Q: How to Remove Startup Items in OS El Capitan

If I start my MacBookAir, starts MS Office for Mac automatically. I looked in the Users and Groups --> login, the MS Office is not in the list.

See if Kurt Lang's answer here will do the trick (it should):

how to stop Text Edit from starting when I start my Mac? I'm using OS 10.11.6

I don't use that particular application, but you also might want to check in its Preferences to see if anything there is checked to launch automatically.
