Q: Leaving a Macbook Pro Charging
Hi, I want to know if leaving my Macbook Pro (13-inch, Retina Late 2015) plugged to the power adapter when it's already fully charged cause any damage to the battery or shorten it's lifespan. Is it correct that when the battery is fully charged and the Macbook is open, it turns to use only AC power from the adapter and the battery remains idle?

the battery will draw when it needs to, it is not damaging to keep your laptop plugged in when fully charged as long as you are not storing your mac. Periodically you may wish to use the laptop without the power adapter but you should not allow the computer to fully discharge when in use if you can help it.
