failing that you may wish to contact Apple and see if what options are available to you based on the manufacturers warranty or extended warranty if you have one.
It is not recommend to 'twist' or 'bend' the device as some websites suggest as doing so can make your device ineligible for repairs at an authorized apple service center. it will also void any existing warranty.
