Q: will factory reset of ipad 2 with WiFi

I want to give my old iPad 2 with WiFi and AT&T Cellular to my niece.  I want to do a factory reset and erase all the data.  I am wondering if the AT&T Cellular stuff will continue to work after that process was done?

iTunes 10.7, Windows 7

Factory reset will erase everything on the phone. Cellular connection will depend if you leave your SIM in and if that contract is still in effect.
