Perhaps you can tell us what "does not work" mean. Can't guarantee I have an answer but it's a start.

Have you tried option 1? You can also sync your contacts and calendar if your Outlook connects to Exchange server (or Microsoft cloud mail) without using iTunes.

I suppose Apple will fix this bug in the next minor iOS update.

The only bad thing is that it's a paid software ($35), but you can choose subscription plan for $3/mo which is literally nothing.
