Q: My macbook pro 2012 keeps crashing

Hello,

I keep having a problem with my macbook pro retina from 2012 (2,6 GHz Intel Core i7) running el capitan vs. 10.11.6 (15G31). Due to to me unknown reasons is keeps crashing. Examples  have been while trying to open a google maps satellite view, just now pasting the crash report or or seconds after I rebooted it. I can't cause the problem to occur on purpose but it happens in short time intervals right after each other and keeps me from working. When crashing the screen suddenly goes black and after pressing some button the screen reapers with the standard power button images and the text explaining that the computer has rebooted due to a system failure.

One of the crash reports that I got afterwards looked as followed.

Maybe you can help me make sense of it?

Steps I have taken to fix it: I tried reinstalling the OS. But I had troubles getting it to boot afterwards and the crashes have persisted.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Many of the entires under the section, "Kernel Extensions in Backtrace" suggest a hardware fault with your video components. You will need to have Apple evaluate because there is not an at-home fix if that is the case.

If it is a video problem, Apple will replace it if it is one of the models with a known failure. My video card went out a few months ago in my 2011 and they replaced it at no cost. Hope this is the case for you!
