Sep 8, 2016 4:59 PM in response to Letslivebetterby Ulexes138,Hello Letslivebetter,
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I know how important it is to be able to rely on your Mac working as expected, and I'd like to help with your screen issue.
Whenever we see the screen blanking out or jumping back to the login screen there are a few steps we can try. The first would be to test the your Mac in safe mode to see if the same behavior occurs. This article will walk you through how too use safe mode:
Try safe mode if your Mac doesn‘t finish starting up
If the behavior persists try resetting your System Management Controller and NVRAM using the instructions in these articles:
Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac
How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac
If you have any other trouble or questions, let us know. The whole community is here to help.
