Q: Macbook Air not charging

My Macbook Air (13.3 inch, 2015) is not charging. When I plug in the charger, it doesn't lose any battery, but it doesn't charge. It even says "Battery Not Charging".

I've looked through the communities and found the following tips:

1- Resetting SMC

2- Cleaning the charger/port

3- Trying a different charging socket

I've tried all three of these tips, but no luck.

It might have something to do with the water my brother spilled on my laptop a few days ago. It wasn't working until yesterday. I have had other issues related to SMC (like the screen randomly turning black) since then, and they've apparently been fixed by resetting the SMC, but this one impossible to solve.

I think it might have something to do with my "logic board" or something? I'm no expert on computers, so I'm not sure.

Chances are, that is probably the reason you are experiencing these problems.  Make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a FREE evaluation.  They should be able to define the problem and allow you to make an informed decision.

    Ciao.
