Q: Can't Turn Off Autopay on iTunes App on Samsung Galaxy Phone

I am trying to cancel my iTunes autopayment on a Samsung Galaxy phone and all the instructions and phone calls don't help.  What's worse is they will not send you to a live agent if you say billing and iTunes so the only way to talk to someone is to go to sales.

If you mean cancel an auto-renewing subscription then you either need to use an iOS device (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch), or a computer's iTunes : View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support

Well, sales was able to transfer me to a live agent from billing and they cancelled it for me. But to respond to your suggestion Mr. King_Penguin, when I click on that link, and attempt to follow the instructions for PC, it doesn't work because I don't see the menu items at the top. Specifically, there is nothing that says "account" that I could click on.  The agent I spoke to said that is because I had to do it on the iTunes app on my computer, which apparently is different then the music app on my Samsung phone. Since I didn't download the iTunes app on my computer that wouldn't work.

However, he told me that on the music app on the phone I had to click on my name and that is how I would be able to cancel the subscription.  Since he already cancelled it, I do not know if it would work, or if there would be other problems, but I think Apple needs to a) not make autopay the default and b) make it much easier to cancel it by having it as prominent on their site as the things they want to sell you.

I didn't know that it was Apple Music that you wanted to cancel, that can be done directly in the Apple Music app on android : Manage your Apple Music membership if you’re using an Android phone - Apple Support
