I have a old family photo in iPhoto and the person that sent it to me has the names of the people listed on the right hand side. I am told that I can add the names to these faces so I know who they are. I have no clue of how to accomplish that.
launch iPhoto and click on help toward the right end of the top bar - read it paying special attention the the section of organizing by people (faces) - it has detailed instructions and is a great place to look for user help on all Mac Programs
