Q: Text to the middle of the cell in a range of cells

How can I arrange text to the middle (up and down) of a cell in a selected range of cells.  I can do it for a single cell but when I try to change a range of cells the option grays out??

    Hi dabres,

I don't have that issue on my machine. Can you post a screenshot of the selected cells and the side panel with greyed options?

Thank you t quinn for getting back to me. Here's what I have discovered.  You can change the location of text in a row, column, or range of cells as long as all the text is in the same orientation (top, middle, or bottom).  If any of the text is in a different orientation, the options will grey out. I can find no way to change a range of text that has various orientations except going from cell to cell making them all the same, then I can change them all to whatever I want, using the sidebar option arrows.
