iBooks

Q: Change title of PDFs copied to iBooks.

iPad ios 9.3.5

when I receive a PDFs in mail then copy to iBooks, I cannot permanently change title of document.  If I try to rename it, when I close & re-open iBook, the title always reverts to original.

iPad Air 2 WiFi, Cellular, iOS 9.3.5

    What do you mean when you say you "close" iBooks? I just figured out how to rename iBooks files, and so far the name has stuck after an hour of switching around from one app to another.

     

    The way I'm renaming files is to go to the library list, choose select (no need to actually select your document), and press on the document name for a few seconds until a cursor appears.

    I have the same issue. Also ios 9.3.5 on iPhone. I rename the pdf in iBooks (as described by litterbuggay) then close iBooks. When I reopen ibooks, the amended titles have reverted back to their original titles. Help!
