May 31, 2016 11:25 AM in response to r_scheidby mooregr,I had the same problem, I used the date command to check the date and it was correct! I tried installing again, same problem. On a whim I changed the date to a date in 2014 and of course it did not work. So I changed the date back to the real date and it worked right away.
I hope this helps someone with the same problem!
Thanks
Guy

Sep 11, 2016 8:41 PM in response to ojrmusemby Truda_0,Same problem here. The date and time fix didn't work for me.
I have an old macbook mid2011 that I need to run and I can't do a clean install because of this error. I am trying with a bootable drive with mavericks , that I have always used with other macs, and nothing. I even tried to change the HDD, formatted it, and I didn't work either.
Don't really know what to do here anymore. Help please.
thnks

Have you tried booting into the Recovery Partition and reinstalling the OS?
