Q: broken earpods

I bought the iPhone 6 less than an year ago.

I am currently a student from RIT Rochester, NY. Recently, my earpods fell off from my jacket and broke while I was running. I put all my saving in the iPhone, so I was looking for an option to replace my earpods as I really like the quality of sound from them.

A help would be appreciated.

you need not use apple headsets all 3.5mm minijack headsets works it's been the defector std since 1980's with sony walkman and then for all computers. any headset can be used though if not made for iPhones the mic and buttons option would be missing

all bluetooth stereo a2dp bluetooth profile headset is an option too

When we break things, we generally have to pay to replace them. They are $29.99 from Apple.

Ask around among your classmates. I'm sure there are lots of people like me who hate them and just put them in a drawer when they buy an iPhone. Perhaps they will charge you less than Apple or even give them to you.

I recommend something from Sony. Just my opinion though.

I don't need any headphones, thank you. My Beats are working just fine.

especially if you have applecare, do a DIY repair. You pay for the earbuds but they refund you when you ship them back. Or, you can go to an apple store to have them exchanged.

The warranty does not cover user damage.
