Q: Suspicious Pop up on iPad Air 2
I was on Yummly, then a link to a recipe site called Drizzle Me Skinny when, after some time on the site, I received a pop up that looked exactly like an Apple error or message window. It stated "This iPad has been selected to win a $1,000 gift card", with the only option available to click "OK", I just wiped everything off the screen, disconnected the Internet and reconnected. As I am not aware of anyone, including Apple, of randomly giving out $1,000 I wondered if anyone is aware of his scam?
iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 9.3.5, None

Scam for sure.
If you were using Safari reset it this way: Close Safari completely from the app switcher window by double clicking the Home button and swiping up the Safari preview pane until it disappears from the screen. Then go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. Then hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
