Q: 9.3.5 deleted almost everything!

i updated my phone to the iOS 9.3.5 last week.  I am regretting it immensely.  I noticed the next day the phone deleted my calender for everything before this month.  Yesterday it deleted all the email in my inbox  and all my notes and then it did the same thing again today.  I lost all my PASSWORDS!  Today it deleted all of my contacts that I regularly text.  They only show the phone numbers now.  It will not sync with the cloud to fix it either.   I am so livid I want to throw this piece of crap in the nearest lake.  End of rant.

Is anyone having a similar problem?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.5

You may well have overflowed your iPhone's storage.

Check Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (under Storage) and be absolutely certain you have no less (and hopefully much more) than 10% of your iPhone's total storage free.

I have more storage now than I had in the past and I have never had this problem.  To top it off this phone will not let me dump my pictures to my computer anymore.  So I can't delete any off my phone and the photos are hogging my storage.  I am starting to really hate apple.  They need to get their stuff straight or I am jumping ship to a system that is not bug infested.

Does this mean you purchased a newer device with more storage?  Does it mean you successfully freed up space?

    Why not?
