    Have you tried in Settings - General - Accessibility - Speech?

     

    There you can turn on Speak selection or Speak Screen. I think "Speek Screen" is the feature you are looking for.

    Now open any website on Safari browser. Place your two fingers on the search bar and swipe down.

    Thanks, I wasn't aware of this feature. I do wish though, that in future installments of iOS, I will be able to command Siri to "read me the top headlines", an article, an ebook or an answer found on the web. Could be great for driving, could be awesome for the vision impaired. I guess that speech capabilities are not refined enough yet, and that's too bad I guess...
