Sep 13, 2016 1:29 AM in response to Alejandra339by léonie,What is covered by Apple Care will depend on the country you are in.
See for example the terms and conditions for the United States: http://www.apple.com/legal/sales-support/applecare/applecareplus/docs/applecarep lusnaen.html
Accidental damage from handling will be covered, see 3.2, but it does not cover
(a) protection against normal wear and tear, theft, misplacement, damages caused by reckless, abusive, willful or intentional conduct associated with handling and use of the Covered Device,
I'm afraid a device damaged by a dog will be a case of "reckless, abusive, willful or intentional conduct" and not covered by Apple CAre.

Sep 13, 2016 5:22 AM in response to Alejandra339by Jonathan UK,Hi
Apple's One Year Limited Warranty only covers the iPhone and included accessories against defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover accidental damage.
If you have AppleCare+, Apple may approve a claim under the accidental damage provisions (I'm afraid that no-one here can tell you what Apple would decide - this is a user-based community).
However, note that accidental damage claims under AppleCare+ are subject to a service fee (or excess, depending on your location). In the US, for example, the service fee is $99 plus tax.
I suggest that you instead buy yourself a replacement set of EarPods ($29 in the US) - and try to keep them away from your dog
