Q: Tried to delete photos and only ones that were selected are not editable. How do I erase the pictures now
I tried to erase a large amount of pictures from my phone and only about half of the pictures erased. The other half, around 300 pictures, didn't erase and now every single one that didn't erase says that it is not editable. Only those photos, the ones that didn't erase, are like that, none of the other pictures taken at the same time or anything like that. I really want to erase those photos but now it's trying to tell me I can't. I already tried clearing iPhoto and turning my phone off and on. Please, any suggestions? What is going on???

Could it be, that the photos that cannot be deleted or edited have been synced to your iPhone using iTunes? Did you ever sync photos to the iPhone this way? Synced photos cannot be deleted on the device, they can only be deleted by syncing again, with the album deselected. See this document: Keep your photos safely stored and up to date on all your devices - Apple Support, the paragraph "Turn off iTunes Syncing"
