Q: Apple ID had an not recoverable, what my music

Hi All,

My apple ID was Hacked and Apple after 3 weeks said they can't recover it.  So i will lose my iTunes music since the 2nd iPhone came out.  I can only save my photos by importing.

How can i save my music?

Other big issue is apple will not unlock my Phones until i prove i brought the them.   Them as in I have kept my old iPhones both work and personal to use with wifi for my daughter and also have a mac book pro and iPad.  There is no way i have receipts for all these years.  Even AT&T has pull all my IMEI for all of my phones linked to my name and apple still wants a receipt.  Of course my work iPhones are listed under my company that i have worked for 17 years at.

This is a terrible situation and policy since i the one that's been hacked.

Don't want to lose all the music i brought.

    Hi,

Just so you are aware, this is a user to user community. You are not communicating directly with Apple here.

I understand you don't want to lose your music but no one here can a hacked Apple ID. That is up to Apple.

So where is your music currently?

Why can't you get to it?

    Hi Phil,

It's mostly on my mac  book pro.  But since the apple id isn't good anymore i have to delete the link from icload and the then sign on with a new apple id.  i don't think it will transfer over.

If the music is physically on the MacBook, ie not being listed from icloud, but actually downloaded to it, then it will remain there when you change the Apple ID.

It can continue to be used normally with the new Apple ID.
