Murphy's Law, the backup you don't have is the one you need.

Sep 13, 2016 10:26 AM in response to Demoby bernardn753,I really hope you guys did back up. I just upgraded both my iPad and iPhone. Both completely dead.
It came to the recovery screen (with the iTunes logo and the lightning connector). So DEFINITELY BACK UP! I think there may be some back end issues because it happened on both of my devices.
Also restarting does no good, it still comes to the same screen. I will need to restore it somehow.

Sep 13, 2016 10:27 AM in response to bernardn753by a1000,Same issue here with iPad Pro. When you plug it into iTunes it says that it needs to update to iOS 9.3.5 but then throws an error which is likely servers unavailable.

I update every single day as well. I use iTunes. I backup with iCloud about once a week. I think that you know what you have to do now.
