Q: two languages in sign-off screen
I have just purchased a new iMac, which came with El Capitan version 10.11.6. On my previous iMac the system was in German. On the new one I wanted to recover all my data from a backup. The first question after starting up the computer was to select the language, but because I thought I was only recovering existing settings I did not bother to change the language here. Now I have a system with a mixture of languages, see the screenshot:
I went into system preferences to check language and region. The region is set correctly and German is listed on the first place. Is there any way to fix this without a need to use Terminal?

Hi Primoz! I had exactly the same problem here in Hamburg, and no I think it can only be done using Terminal, which seems to be more "powerful" or just works better than the normal System Preferences. But it´s really quite easy! So try this, it worked for me!
Open Terminal and at the prompt enter this command:
sudo languagesetup
Press Enter. You now have to enter your Admin. Password. Press Enter again.
Up comes a long list of languages, each preceded by a number. Deutsch is 3, so at the prompt enter 3, quit Terminal and re-boot. As I said, it worked for me, hope it works for you! Cheers, Ian
