You can also log into your Apple ID account via a browser and check what devices are listed there.

Reset your ATV from the Settings menu or by disconnecting the power cord for about 30 seconds.

It looks like the "ghost" Bonjour bug that was on OS X some releases ago…

When a device with the same name, "Apple TV", registers in Bonjour with a different IP address, a number is added to the name since it seems to be a different device. Once your configuration is stable and you restart the router, things should be clean.
