Do you have an iCloud backup? Or are you saying that you have no backup at all? Did you not create a backup before attempting to update the device? Apple recommends a backup before doing any type of iOS update.

Without a backup, you will lose data. You can recover to your latest backup.

Do you have any backup anywhere? Did you use iCloud to backup?

If you have a backup, after you restore it, you can restore (Yeah, I know same term) from the backup. The downside....say mine fritzed, the last time I backed up was last week so I'd lose everything from that backup point til now.

keep the home and start button pressed until it reboots. This could help without any lost.

Unless you purposefully skipped that step, a backup is created as one of the early steps of an iOS update. It will be either in iTunes or iCloud, so check.

Sadly, I don't have any sort of backup. (Which is totally my fault, and is due to my negligence) Is it too late to make any sort of ICloud backup? Or would I need my IPhone to be on? Also, I looked this up online and it said I could hold the volume up button, and it would put it into "Safe-Mode". Is that a legit thing?
