Q: Black info bar

A horizontal black location/info bar appeared on  desktop. It tells me where youse cursor is at that moment. Hate it! Can't figure out how to disable it. It's also giving me me random black lines and boxes in any window I open.

PLease help!

    You probably have installed some software that is doing this.

     

    Two things:

     

    1) Post a screenshot showing the problematic bar

    2) Run Etrecheck and post its report

    Black bas also gives email info as it comes in. The black box and lines are popping up on everything. Report follows images.

    did you inadvertently enable anything in System Preferences - Accessibility?

     

    Ahh, I see you have a bunch of stuff installed you do not need and which can cause major problems - uninstall cleanmymac, anything Kasperski related, and any anti virus stuff.

    What babowa said - uninstall cleanmymac and kaspersky and then try again.

     

    It does look like something that could be set under Accessibility but I cannot find it there.

    I know! I couldn't either. Seems like it should be something to do with captions or the like.

    Uncheck : Enable VoiceOver
