Q: Refund for Cat Evolution hard currency pack failing

My daughter purchased an app pack for Cat Evolution app ($49.99) in error.  I went to the Apple site and tried to process a refund through the standard refund process but it tells me the refund can't be processed?  Does anyone know why?

Technically, all purchases are final, however go to iTUnes support and talk to them

Contact - Official Apple Support

 

After that you may want to consider enabling restrictions (settings, general, restrictions - don't forget that passcode you'll need to make )- and disable in app purchases. Keep it from happening again.

    Thank you.....yes the settings will be changed ASAP.....I tried to get in contact with support but sat on chat for about 30 mins and not connected to an agent....will try again.....thanks again for the response.

    WIth iOS10 coming out today I'm sure they're on the swamped side.

     

    Another thing to consider, you could always dispute the charge with your credit card company. Probably a last ditch effort but something else you could try.
