Sep 13, 2016 6:15 PM in response to promoodby promood,Thanks, so I tried several times. It worked sporadically one on one or two videos but not consistent and not more than one at a time. Now it has stopped working all together. Computer is to capacity and slow, maybe that's a factor.

Sep 13, 2016 11:28 PM in response to promoodby léonie,Are you using "File > Export > Export unmodified original"? It is important to export the unmodified originals, otherwise Photos will need plenty of storage to render the previews of the edited versions.
if you are very low on disk storage and do not even have the minimum of 10GB free storage any longer, keep exporting the videos one by one and delete them immediately from the Photos library and empty the Recently deleted album, until you have the minimum of free working storage back.

Sep 14, 2016 9:36 AM in response to LarryHNby promood,Just emptied out some videos and now I have about 17 gb free of 500. I can export to desktop then then drag to passport. Takes awhile for one 2 minute video to transfer to desktop. Programs take awhile to start up also. Computer is 7 years full and needs to be optimized or something but I don't know where to start.

Sep 14, 2016 10:43 AM in response to promoodby LarryHN,You need not know - you use the export unmodified original command as posted
Are you using "File > Export > Export unmodified original"?
And you can export them directly to the EHD rather than to the desktop
