Sep 13, 2016 10:49 PM in response to Hyperspace0by lepontneuf,Mine too. I think it's around 8250hz. I have to unplug it then after one second, it stops. It probably has something to do with it in standby mode waiting for the remote to turn it in. I pull the plug and it's gone.

Sep 14, 2016 10:25 AM in response to Hyperspace0by lepontneuf,Actually - I WAS WRONG! It was NOT the AppleTV. It was the charger plug for my Bose Soudlink Mini. When plugged in and NOT charging the speaker, it makes that awful noise. I used an app called SpectrumView to analyze it - two wavelengths: audible at 8250Hz and inaudible (to me) at 16000Hz! crazy!
