Q: offline content showing in 'Songs' iOS10 update

Does anyone know how not to show off line music in 'Song' mode in iOS10 music update?

in the previous version there was a show only on this iPod

Now when I look in 'song' I see all my cloud songs I don't want to see.

I have to say this is a truly shocking update thats gradually getting worse with every so called 'improvement'!!

On the first Library screen, I selected Downloaded Music. That shows only the songs on your device, and has the usual Artists / Albums / Songs sections within it...

Ah I see the confusion... When I tried that before I posted the above post, it only showed albums, so I thought if I hit songs again it would just go back to the standard offline/online content.
Not the best method, a switch to kill would be better like in the previous version.
Bad update, need to find an alternative player, and one that doesn't keep trying to flog me Apple Music.

Im having this issue as well, but when I select "downloaded music" nothing changes.  It's still showing all my music but my library should be empty.

Maybe I'm just looking at it wrong.  is there no way to remove the "recently added" stuff that isn't even technically on my phone?
