Q: MacBook keeps crashing

Hi,

my MacBook Pro crashes from time to time, mostly when I start the session, but sometimes also while I am working with it.

This is the crash report, can someone help me with that? (can not paste it here, this is a link to a Google Doc)

Thank you so much!

You have the misfortune of having a model identifier 6.2 MBP that is experiencing GPU problems. There was a replacement program on these models but that has expired.

You can have the logic board replaced, but that will be at your expense. You may download this application as an interim measure:

    https://gfx.io/

This will allow you to disengage the discrete GPU and use only the integrated one. This will stop the kernel panics but at the expense of graphics performance.

    Ciao..

    Thank you very much!

Will try the software solution first, if it's really the discrete GPU maybe I will have it changed.

Understand that changing the GPU requires installing a new logic board.  That will be very expensive.

    Ciao.
