Sep 14, 2016 11:32 AM in response to Conyousby CrazyOmen,I Have contacted apple support by phone today. It looks like they never heard about this problem yet. I will receive a call from apple today or tomorrow with hopefully some informations about a possible fix for this bug. It is really annoying.
IF I get a possible fix I"ll post it here, so other user maybe have also a solution for fixing the problem. I think, we are not the only ones, who found this bug, so apple may release a update soon.
I've tried different thinks, like reinstall iOS 10, sync the ringtones again and again, delete all contacts from my phone and create a test-contact without iCloud-connection, to see if its icloud related, reset all settings and many other possible solutions around the internet and from apple-support. But at the moment there is no solution. We have to be patient.

Sep 14, 2016 5:18 PM in response to Tilloneby eduardokelly,I have the same problem. I had contacted three times to Apple´s support and they did not have a clue.
I had restored the phone, reset, turn off and all that the apple´s guys told me to do. And nothing worked.
I hope that the developers create a fix to solve this problem.

Sep 14, 2016 11:10 PM in response to Tilloneby Rakhma Febriani,Mine the same. I have just upgraded last night and just found out the custom ringtones changed to regular general ringtone despite the ringtone is still active and mentioned on the contact.
I have checked with several people in my country, and all are experiencing the same.
Apple, please help. It's not fun!

Sep 15, 2016 1:49 AM in response to Tilloneby Atemi,Same here!
I have the issue on 3 devices (one 6s and two 5s) and my brother as well on his iPhone 6.
So I had to contact the helpdesk and they had no clue. Then they forwarded me to the 2nd level support. I had to reset the devices and set them up as new device (without using a backup) only the contacts have been synced via icloud.
The issue persist. I can choose custom ringtones for my contacts. The ringtone is assigned correctly but when the contact calls the standard ringtone is played instead of the assigned one.
I had to make videos and pictures on how i change the ringtone and send it to the analyst. The analyst has now send the documentation to the technical support. Need to wait for them to reply.
Guess we might see an update for iOs 10 coming up.
The annoying thing is that this seems to be an issue which has been reported in the Beta versions already.
Sad to see that Apple has lost the appetite not only on bringing real innovations but also dropped the sens for perfection.

Sep 17, 2016 1:47 PM in response to Tilloneby Fab4fan27,Hi everybody,
the same happens to me.
However, the issue seems limited to cellular incoming calls.
FaceTime incoming calls use the right ringtone I chose for the contact who's calling me.
Incoming messages work well, too.
I have an iPhone 6 with iOS 10.0.1
In my opinion this is a major bug. Some users state this was a known issue in the beta versions! I am amazed the software has been released to the general public anyway.
Anybody have an idea whether this happens on an iPhone 7?
Cheers
