Q: Mac Pro freezes but mouse still moves
Today my work Mac Pro (Early 2009 model running OS X 10.10.5)
has "frozen" 3 times,
When it freezes, the mouse still moves but nothing else works. Can't click on anything, keyboard shortcuts don't work, only way out of it is to hold the power button and restart the machine.
The last time this happened I used the command:
"sudo syslog -k Sender kernel -k Message CRe'GPU D|I/O|nspace-h|n Cause: -|timed? ?o' | tail | open -ef" in terminal to run the following report:
Sep 14 14:28:14 stevens-computer kernel[0] <Notice>: disk2s3: I/O error.
Sep 14 14:28:17 stevens-computer kernel[0] <Notice>: ** GPU Debug Info Start **

Can anyone shed any light onto what might have caused this issue?
Any help greatly appreciated.
