Q: My iPad 2 keeps saying problem occurred so webpage had to be reloaded.

iPad 2 using iOS 9.3.5

When certain websites open, I sometimes get a message that says: "There was a problem with this page, so it was reloaded."  It occurs at random times and sometimes it will happen multiple times in a row on the same page.

It is often (but not always) a website that I have gone to via a link.  I have tried going to that site directly (i.e. Not using the link), and sometimes it works, but sometimes it starts reloading again.  It is occurring more and more frequently, and some sites now basically won't stay open at all before the message pops up and it starts reloading again.  Sometimes I wish there was a way to "defrag" to clean up glitches like this.  Is there?

Any help will be appreciated very much!

Three suggestions. First Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. Second, force quit Safari. Third, force quit some of the other apps that may be clogging real memory. If those have no effect, make sure your internet connection is reliable.
