Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
I see that your iPhone 6 touch screen isn't working. That's definitely something that I wouldn't want to have happen. I use my iPhone all the time, so I want you to be able to use yours with no issues. Let's see what I can do to help.
Please see article If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn‘t respond to touch, specifically, this section:
Check your touchscreen
Make sure that your hands are clean and dry, then try these steps:
- If you have a case or screen protector on your device, try removing it.
- Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
- Unplug your device.
- Restart your device. If you can't restart it, you can force restart your device.
If your touchscreen still doesn't respond like it should, contact Apple Support or take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
And yes, iOS 10 is available. This is a good site that will help you learn more about what's new in this release, and how to backup your device and upgrade:
Update to iOS 10
Have a great day!
