    Hi poppybea5316,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that you are unable to delete an app from your iPhone. It just says waiting, and it won't allow you to remove. I understand the importance of being able to remove apps that you no longer need or use. Let's work together and find the best resolution to this issue.

First, use the article Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and give your iPhone a fresh restart, specifically, this section:

    How to restart

    1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
    3. After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

Once you've restarted, see if your can then touch and hold the app until it jiggles, and then remove.

If you still have an issue after that, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Select Apple ID > Sign Out. Once you've signed out, try to delete the app. Then, sign back in.

    Have a great day!

Thanks sarah, I tried both of your suggestions but it still won't delete! Guess I'm stuck with it!

Hi. There's another lower level way to delete an app that may work. Go to Settings > General > Storage and iCloud Usage > STORAGE Manage Storage. Wait for the list to populate, then tap on the entry for the app. It should then offer a delete option which may work.

Are you sure you picked Manage Storage under STORAGE, not under ICLOUD?

Diana, you've cracked it!  Thanks so much, so glad to get rid of the app! I did pick iCloud the first time that's why it didn't work. Wonderful!
