I need help please. Today i got my sister a brand new apple earpods for her itouch 5th gen and problem is the volume up and down isnt working, the stop and play button does work though. So we tried it on my itouch 4th gen and all buttons work perfectly fine. It also works fine on my samsung phone and her lg one but doesnt work on my mom's 2015 released samsung phone. In short it doesnt work on her itouch 5th gen and my mom's j7 2016 but works perfectly fine on my itouch 4th gen, samsung phone and sister's lg phone.
Is there anyone who can possibly help me? Im havig second thoughts on returning the item at the mall since it works on SOME gadgets. I would really be thankul to anyone who can help me.
Oh and i bought the earpods at an authorized apple products dealer at the mall so it cant be fake.
