Sep 14, 2016 2:39 PM in response to Carolyn Samitby RichardRandall,Thanks, Carolyn, but the article describes how to remove one song at a time rather than clearing the entire list. Actually, either clearing the entire list or just clearing the song currently being played and not replacing it with another would do.

Sep 14, 2016 7:35 PM in response to RichardRandallby bajancanuck,This missing feature is one of my biggest gripes with this ios 10 update! Before, if you, say, added two albums to your "queue" you had the option of "clearing" each one individually. Not anymore.
APPLE, PLEASE BRING BACK THE "CLEAR" FUNCTION!

Sep 15, 2016 6:02 AM in response to RichardRandallby pheareme,The only way I can see to clear up next is to completely close the apple music app (double click home button and swipe up on apple music).
Not being able to clear 'up next' was a major oversight by the design team.

Sep 15, 2016 8:25 AM in response to RichardRandallby jaredfield,A workaround to do this is to select another song to play, you should be prompted to keep or clear up next. Not an ideal method of course

Sep 15, 2016 8:54 AM in response to jaredfieldby gizze,Doesn't do that on mine.
I get...
Delete from Library (which is pretty ****, should be delete from playlist imho)
Add to Playlist... (it is already in a playlist)
Play Next..
Play Later...
Love - Dislike.

Sep 15, 2016 9:16 AM in response to gizzeby pheareme,Adding a single song works. Just click the song to play it, do not bring up the context menu.

Sep 15, 2016 9:45 AM in response to phearemeby bajancanuck,Where does one find this single song for this workaround? If I go to an album and click on a song, I get no menu asking to clear queue, the song just starts playing right away. However, now all the songs after the song I have clicked on are added to my queue. Granted, the original queue is now "cleared" but now I have more crap in a queue I don't want. If I go to my Library and just pick a random song, ALL songs following that one song in my library get added to my queue which I then can't clear (hundreds of songs). Quitting the app(double clicking home and swiping up the music app) is the only sure fire way for me to clear my queue. Not good.

Sep 15, 2016 10:00 AM in response to bajancanuckby jaredfield,Ah I see your point, it's only a workaround for songs you have manually added to your queue. Like you say, if you go to library > songs and select a song to play, it will queue up all songs listed below the song you just selected. This is annoying because if you select another song from your song library list, it won't prompt you to clear up next but instead do the exact same and queue up everything listed below your selection. If you go to a playlist and select a song to play, this will replace your queue with the playlist songs likewise with an album.
Apple need a way to add this feature back! I also liked the feature in the up next queue where you could scroll up to see what was played previously, useful if you needed a refresh of what you were listening to earlier and can't remember..

Sep 15, 2016 10:15 AM in response to bajancanuckby pheareme,This is true. To get the clear up next message, you need to select a song from your library. But yes it will also play all songs after. As stupid workaround, you could add a single song from an artist to your library and sort by artist, then pick the one song.
Dumb. Probably easier to just close the **** app.
