Q: Feedburner to iTunes

Can anyone help me figure out what's going wrong with my feeds? iTunes is now telling me that one of them is not reading correctly (after working for years) and the other I can't get iTunes to read at all. Love some help!

Both of your feeds include this tag:

    <itunes:new-feed-url>http://I</itunes:new-feed-url>

This is a redirection tag which works only in iTunes and the Store, and obviously is redirecting them to a nonexistent URL, hence the error. You should remove this tag.

Thanks Roger! I'm using Feedburner to create these feeds... any info on where it's adding that?

Assuming you have actually created the feed from scratch in Feedburner, as opposed to the more usual process of creating a feed elsewhere and submitting it to Feedburner, you will need to look in Feedburner's settings - I believe it includes the facility for adding a redirect, though I'm not familiar with the details, and it may be that you've inadvertently added the I to it.

Thanks I found it - it was in Feeder. A mistake. Do they look good now? Appreciate the help!

It's gone from the second feed but it's still in the first.

Thanks again, still trying to figure out why it won't publish a new feed now.

Hey Roger, does it look alright now - the first one? I don't see the error you pointed out but I'm getting an error 504 now!

The redirect tag has now gone and the feed can be subscribed to successfully in iTunes. However Podcasts Connect is complaining that it can't download episodes. This is because it checks only the top episode in the feed, and the top one here, 'Thoughts on Six', doesn't contain any playable media: hence the error. It won't show in iTunes either - it does not display episodes with no playable media.

You should remove this episode. Once accepted you can add it back if necessary: it won't then cause any problems but it won't show either.
