Q: why does my iPod Touch 6g battery is running so fast?

Hi, I would like to know why my battery is running so fast when my iPod Touch (6 generation 32GO) is on sleep mode (not when he's turn off completely) I open it and the battery lost energy even if I put it on "plane mode"..I really don't know what to do.. I restore it many times, but it seems to have the same problem..(I put my backup that I did before restore it)

I can use it like one day and its battery is almost drained.. If I'm very lucky, it can be two days just if I don't use it many times and if I don't receive a lot of notifications..(however, the battery still drains a little bit..)

Is it normal..?

Thanks a lot!

    Greetings â€‹Frédoune99,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It seems like you have an iPod Touch that uses the battery quickly.
Here is some good information on Settings that you can change to try and maximize the battery life.

This article shows you how to check if there is a specific app that is using more battery compared to others. If it is one app more than others you can adjust your usage accordingly.

I am having the same issue except it is an iPod Touch Gen 5 that was purchased from Apple's eStore as a refurbished unit.  It just started acting this way recently.  I have removed all apps and this iPod is using the battery as if it is not going to sleep.  I just updated it to iOS 9.3.5 and am wondering if this is causing this problem.  I have had to restore this iPod n times as well.  Hopefully some one can help out.

I've started my tread as "A 2 month old iPod Touch 5th gen started to lose all its battery charge over night.  Is this indicative of a battery issue?" and using the 'Battery Life' app as suggested by the community am pretty sure the battery is fine.  Its just this iPod doesn't seem to go to sleep mode with on/off/sleep or any other action.
