Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I know how important it is to keep iTunes up to date, and I'd like to help. Whenever we see issue updating iTunes on Windows it can be helpful to remove iTunes and it's associated programs and re-install from a fresh download. The article specifies Windows Vista through Windows 8 but the steps will work with Windows 10 as well.
