Q: My Apple ID has been stolen by someone named Leo Audette.
I received emails from <noreply@email.apple.com> saying my Apple ID has been used to sign in to iCloud on an IPad 2. I do not have an iPad. I do not use any Apple hardware--NONE. The only thing I have ever had an Apple ID for is buying and storing music in iTunes. That software is installed on one of my computers that I rarely use. In response to the email, I changed my Apple ID password and did get into my account one time. I saw that someone had changed my name and birthdate on the account. I am Gloria Latta, birthdate 07/05/1946, and the name shown in my account was changed to Leo Audette, birthdate 11/??/1955. I corrected those, but when I tried to change any other information, it was impossible to do because I was required to answer security questions that had NOT been set by me. The person who stole my Apple ID put his own security questions there, apparently. Every time I tried to correct information in my account profile, I was not allowed to make changes because I could not answer the security questions.
Can you help me secure my Apple ID and stop Leo Audette from accessing it, please.
