Q: Help! Need to get Calendar OFF LockScreen!

Okay, yes, new iOS 10 LockScreen is really cool & useful & all that but I do not want my Calendar or Siri suggestions (which basically display my usage history) on display to anyone who picks up my iPhone & swipes left.

My Calendar entries often contain confidential information about clients such as project names, phone numbers etc. I do not want this on public display!

I cannot find any way to change these settings or stop this from appearing.

I went into 'Touch ID & Passcode' and switched 'Today View', 'Notifications View' and Siri to off.
When I rebooted my iPhone 6s this notifications screen had gone from my LockScreen.

Now it has reappeared & won't go away.

Can someone help please? This is a very serious issue for me & I am sure many others.

Apple, we love new features but please. Don't make us use them whether we want them or not especially when it involves over-sharing confidential information!

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.1

Are you talking about the widgets? Yes? Then go to the bottom of the widget screen, push edit en delete the widgets you want gone.

Are you talking about notifications? Yes? The ngo to settings, notifications and edit the ones you don't want visable if there is an appointment or other push notification you want to hide.

Hi @iAmRenzo, thanks for your input & yes, lockscreen widgets.

I actually spent over 1/2 an hour talking with Apple support about this after posting my call for help.

Despite turning widgets off they have been sometimes popping back up again & the entire right-swipe widget screen has been disappearing.

Seems there are a few bugs with it all & he acknowledged this & said they are collecting reports at the moment trying to establish what the issue is.

It's been stable for the last couple of hours now. Removed widgets have stayed removed & the right-swipe screen has remained available.
