Q: YouTube playlists gone from Apple TV

So annoying! As a music teacher I regularly save useful videos for the classroom in YouTube playlists so that I can find them quickly using the Apple TV and Mimio screen in my room. Today I wanted to play a useful video about the hurdy gurdy which I've played a zillion times before and knew where to find.

Everything looked strange and empty, however, and I had to tell my class I couldn't find it. When I examined it more closely after they had gone, I discovered that YouTube on my Apple TV was only displaying 12 of my 22 playlists.

I logged out and logged in again successfully. But still there were my 12 playlists and many of my most useful playlists for my lessons were still missing.

Searching the internet I find that loads of people have complained about this on Google's help forums but hardly anyone on Apple's site. There don't appear to be any working solutions out there; but something must have happened to break something that was working so well. I rely on this, not least since a supply teacher (sub in American) can access my videos without any of my devices if I'm absent for some reason. I'd like to hear what Apple's take on this is. Somebody, somewhere must have some idea of why so many people have playlists that suddenly won't appear on the YouTube app on Apple TV. Anyone?
