Q: Bluetooth pairing

cannot pair iPad Pro with Bose speaker. iPad 4 pairs no problem. Tried powering down, then cold start....nada. Latest version of iOS just loaded ( not impressed so far). Any suggestions.?

    Thanks so much for using the Apple Support Communities. After reading your post, I'm seeing that you are unable to pair a set of Bluetooth speakers with your iPad Pro--even though the speakers pair with your iPad 4 without issue. I use a few Bluetooth devices myself, so I know how convenient they can be; I'd be happy to help!


    First, since you are able to pair the speakers with your iPad 4, I would start by making sure Bluetooth is turned off on that iPad under Settings > Bluetooth before you try to pair with the iPad Pro. You may be able to pair your speakers with multiple iOS devices, but they can only actively be connected to one at a time.

    Once Bluetooth is off on the iPad 4, use the following article to try and pair your Bose speakers:

    Thanks so much....you are a star! Completely forgot about turning Bluetooth off on iPad 4 duh! Listening as we speak, thanks again.
