Hey Folks!
I have some massive issues with the spotlight search and i have no idea what i could do to fix this.
The Problem: I can't search for files on a specific volume. The internal harddrive works just fine, aswell as some external ones in our network. However.. the most important volume doesn't allow me to search for files – it won't show any results.
The harddrive stores about 8TB of data and looking for the file manually isn't possible because i only know the item number, not the day it got archived. I have to look up several files a day – thats why i really need a working spotlight search.
I've already tried to re-index the files via the spotlight-privacy-trick and via terminal.
(mdutil /Volumes/Online\ Redaktion/ -i off and turning it on again)
It still does not work tho..
I haven't found anything else on the world wide web but maybe someone here knows what i could do?
