Then in iTunes File>Library>Update iCloud Music Library. been doing this for the last 20 mins and so far it seems to work.

As anorakman mentioned, if you use Get Lyrical, it will add custom lyrics to your iTunes music. Provided your music is synched to your iPhone, you should be able to view the lyrics by playing the song and then tapping on the ... menu at the bottom. There should be a Lyrics option in the pop-up menu. Once you tap on that, a lyrics view will pop up. The biggest problem with that is that you can't control music at this point - you have to dismiss the view to go back to the previous music view.
Hope that helps!

Sep 15, 2016 11:47 AM in response to anorakmanby AAKR,Thanks for sharing that.
The only thing I don't understand is that few of them still show lyrics on my iPhone (like the music I just added today) while others show "Up Next" option only.
I even checked the files type to see if it is going to make a difference, but still no idea why it does that.

I use iTunes on my Macbook to add a custom lyrics for my music (copy and paste the lyrics). After adding the lyrics, I can view them on my iTunes library (by clicking on
). but, when I sync them to my iPhone, the option for lyrics "..." (or even scroll down) is showing for some music. -
Sep 15, 2016 12:02 PM in response to AAKRby anorakman,Not every song has lyrics added yet. I have a a lot of albums that only have lyrics to one song. I think its gonna take time to get them all added. try the suggestion i offered and see if it helps.

The "Get Lyrical" seems a good option and works just fine. However, all of my lyrics used to show in iOS 9 and here I am not talking about Apple Music. I am talking about music you downloaded it in your own.

I don't know that you have anything to be afraid of. I've upgraded to iOS 10 and it is a decent upgrade - for all of the bumps, it's still reasonably good. That being said, I believe that if you restore your Wifi, you should be okay - just don't resume your upgrade download. You should be able to continue to use iOS 9 without performing an update.

Sep 17, 2016 7:35 AM in response to AAKRby omenlo,Alright
So i read other posts and was facing similar problem. In my case NONE of my songs displayed or recognized that i had manually entered lyrics
what somehow works is this:
Some of them fix just by opening the info area and checking the lyrics part. Literally opening and pressing '>' so that itunes can recognize that as a 'change' (however little).
Some other of my songs just f*ck up. menaing the lyrics display "as
this
and
its
anoyying"
Looking on how to fix this.... is anyone has any other fix please Speak UP!!! i have hundreds of songs (in several languages) and cant see my lyrics!
Hope this helps!
